I don't know about you, but I can't help but start thinking about Thanksgiving the day I flip the calendar from October to November. My kids are barely out of their Halloween costumes, and I'm already trying to figure out how big a turkey we'll need and which stuffing recipe to make! Have you started your planning yet? Well, the new Campbell's Kitchen site couldn't come at a better time—when it launches, you'll find new recipe collections with terrific ideas and inspiration for putting together your best Thanksgiving celebration ever!
Looking for a new side dish idea? You'll find one (or several!) in the Must-Have Side Dishes collection. Or how about something to serve with the pumpkin pie? We've got you covered there, too, with a long list of desserts that will WOW your family. There's even a category dedicated to recipes using leftovers! How's that for covering all the bases?
I hope you're looking forward to getting into the site, poking around and making it your go-to kitchen resource for the big cooking holidays ahead and well into 2010. Settle in and drop us a note to tell us how you like things. We can't wait to hear from you.

We know how much you enjoy cooking meals for your family, and what a great resource Campbell's Kitchen is for ideas and inspiration. So as we redesigned the site, we spent a lot of time making sure the Family Favorites collections would provide you with useful information and delicious recipes for making dinnertime a fun experience for everyone in your family—and I think you're going to love what you see!
When the site launches, go to the Family Favorites collection by clicking on the Recipes tab in the toolbar at the top of the page. Do your kids love Mexican food? Check out the “Everybody Loves Mexican” category for creative dinner ideas, then teach the kids simple cooking skills by getting them involved with dinner preparation. Or serve a classic Italian favorite that everyone will like—on formal china with candles! Family mealtimes are about building memories, and you'll find so many ways to do that on the new Campbell's Kitchen.
The upcoming holidays are the ultimate memory-making event, and on Wednesday, I'll fill you in on some of the fabulous Thanksgiving menu ideas you'll find in the new Seasonal collection on campbellskitchen.com. Stay tuned!

Saving money can start with smart meal planning and making good shopping choices. Thankfully, you don't have to look any further than the Budget-Friendly collection on the new Campbell's site for great recipes and tips to help you save money and eat well.
Click on “Budget-Friendly” in the drop down menu in the Recipes tab at the top of the site pages. All of the recipes within this feature are wallet friendly. You'll find three new categories: Dinnertime Sandwiches, Restaurant Favorites at Home, and Start with a Can of Soup. Here you'll find so many options for satisfying suppers, along with new content full of shopping hints and helpful cooking tips—small, simple things that can make a big difference. I think you'll really find this section of the new site helpful with meal planning and smart shopping.
Check in next Monday and Wednesday for more news on what to expect on the site! I'll talk about the Family Favorites and Thanksgiving collections—just in time for the big cooking holiday ahead!

As our “grand opening” date for the new Campbell's Kitchen gets closer, everyone seems to be moving at a faster pace to make all the finishing touches. But just wait until you see what's in store—you're going to love what you see!
For those of you who've spent a lot of time on the current Campbell's site, creating recipe boxes for quick access to all your favorite dishes, you don't have to worry about losing any information once the transition to the new site has been made. You'll still be able to access recipes from your box and add new ones to your collection.
As part of the redesign, we've also spruced up the recipes to make sure the information in them is still relevant to you. Over time, product lines change, trends come and go, and as a result, some of the recipes needed a little updating. But your favorites will still be on the site, ready for you at any time. Check back here on Wednesday to learn about the Eating Smart section of CampbellsKitchen.com!

An old saying claims that you first “eat with your eyes,” and I think that's true: I'm much more inspired to try a recipe if there's a photograph, aren't you? When you see the new Campbell's Kitchen site in a couple of weeks, you'll be in for a treat—on it you'll find hundreds of gorgeous new photographs that make the dishes practically jump off the screen.
One of the things I think you'll appreciate about the new photos is how “real” they look—the food is presented in a way that's approachable, with simple, pretty plating and serving ideas that you can try at home. And of course, every one of the photographs makes each dish look positively mouthwatering. The hardest part about searching for a recipe for dinner will be narrowing your choice to just one!
Next week I'll blog about more of the site updates in store and new healthy eating information for you. Talk to you Monday!

Well, when the new Campbell's Kitchen site launches in a couple of weeks you'll have access to the perfect search tool for moments when you crave something but can't quite put your finger on it.

Or maybe you need a little soothing—click on “comforting” for dishes that are bound to make you feel better. Practically any craving you have can be tamed with this tool!

You already know what a great recipe resource Campbell's Kitchen is, but I just can't wait for you to see the new site with its brand new recipe search tool called “Guide Me.” It's designed so you can tell us about the type of dish you’d like to make, and then get a selection of recipes tailored to your preferences.
Need something that can work into a busy schedule? Check out the tool's Quick & Easy tab. Or maybe you feel like something a little different for dinner, or healthier—we have tabs for those options too. Narrow your search further based on ingredients, how much time you have to spend prepping and cooking, nutritional information, even what kind of mouths you're feeding, from picky palates to more adventuresome eaters! This tool is bound to take dinner planning to a whole new (and more fun!) level.
Stay tuned for more blogs with news and information about the new site. In the meantime, email us and tell us about the type of dish you like to make for your family.

If you haven’t already heard the news, I am so excited to tell you that we will be launching the new Campbell’s Kitchen site in just a few weeks! Rather than wait for the great reveal, I decided to start blogging about it before we go live so I can give you a sneak preview of what’s to come.
First and foremost, we’ve improved the site by making the recipes super easy to find, as well as adding helpful cooking information like, “How to tell when your roast is done” or what key ingredients you should always keep in your pantry for quick fix dinners.
Of course, that’s just a small taste of what we have in store. To keep you in the loop about all the exciting changes, I’ll continue to tell you more about many of our new features on Monday and Wednesdays!
