    Jenn,
''Got Milk'' is the brand I used (it's like Hershey's Syrup but thicker).

And the sugar Crystals I use aren't just ''fine sugar''...they are like small chunks of sugar...a bit larger than the decorating (colored) sugars.

The brand of sugar crystals I use are by Wilton Baking Co....clear crystals (they make the colored ones too, but these are bigger).

No, they have never burned on the bottom of the pan for me.

I am making this cake for sure! Cin, are the sugar crystals regular sugar? Won't they burn on the bottom of the Bundt pan?One more question-what is "Got Milk " chocolate syrup?

Claudia, I guess it would work if you can find a ''Raspberry Flavored Cake Mix''.....(just kidding).

You could use raspberry preserves in this instead of strawberry preserves (also if you do, you might try using a Yellow cake mix instead of the strawberry mix I used with this recipe).......let me know how it turns out.

    Cin,

This sounds like a yummy recipe. I love the taste of chocolate and raspberry together. How do you think that substitute for the strawberry would work?
