I made these with the Puff Pastry shells. First I brought a cup of water to boil with 3 teaspoons of sugar and then added about half a can of dried, pitted prunes. I simmered them for about 10-15 mins, then put them in a food processor to get them nicely mashed up. Then I filled each shell with my yummy sweet prune goop and sprinkled confectioner's sugar on top. Everyone loved them!

for the girl that caters and can't find them contact a wholesales.
they carry the pepperidge farm shells and I'm sure you could buy
in quantity. I do a few a year and i order from them. you can buy
several cases at once and freeze them. the way they are packed
you can pull out what you need. Pepperidge is a superior product
and you can always serve them knowing they will be delicous.
I live in the midwest- don;t know where you are. You favorite
resturant probably would help you make a connection. hope this
    helps.

I enjoy cooking with puff pastry - also I can't find the mini pasty tarts- tart shells are such a bother and take so much time. I like the mini's for appetizers.

These look terrific....but I have a question! I have such a hard time finding the mini puff shells. I have contacted Pepperidge Farm about this and they don't appear to have them stocked here except during the holidays.

Since I am a caterer, I need then year-round. I have tried cutting out circles from the sheets, but they don't come out the same. Any suggestions on how to make them look as good from regular sheets of puff pastry?
