I made some spaghetti the other day and it turned out so good and pretty I took several pix during and of the finished dish. I caramelized the onion, green-bell pepper, and mushrooms together. Using butter, ex-v olive oil and liquid garlic juice. When nicely caramelized I added flour and brown sugar-Splenda to thicken and sweeten. I browned 1/2 pound or ground Chuck and 1/2 pound Sausage together. Crumbled and added the caramelized mixture. Added died tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, v-8 juice and 1-can of Campbell's Tomato soup, rinsed the can out w\milk (about 1/2 can) and added. Poured in a 16-oz jar of Classico Traditional Tomato-Basil pasta sauce...heated all together and let simmer while boiling the pasta. I made 100% Whole Wheat pasta..drained, put into large Corning dish and poured my sauce over it and folded together...yummmmo.
