Cin's Twist on\Applesauce Bread 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened 1/4 cup light brown sugar (Splenda) 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 t baking powder 1 t baking soda 1/2 t sea salt 1 t ground Saigon cinnamon 1 t allspice 1 t pure vanilla 1 cup applesauce 2 lg eggs
1 cup Cranberries 1/2 cup Sunflower Seeds
Preheat the oven to 350 dF. Generously grease and flour an bread-loaf pan. Cream the butter and brown sugar. Add the remaining ingredients except the cranberries and sunflower seeds. Mix well until blended. Stir in the cranberries and sunflower seeds. Pour into the loaf pan. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes; depending on your oven, I took mine out after 50 minutes (just check w\a toothpick in center).
Cin's Whipped Apple-Cranberry Butter 1/2 cup (4-oz) cream cheese spread 1/2 cup apple-cranberry butter Whip the cream cheese and apple-cranberry butter together, (I use my hand mixer with the wire-whisk attachment). Serve with bread (also good on bagels and toasted english muffins).
