Welcome to Campbell's Tina. I had a nice bowl of vegetable beef with barley soup yesterday, in fact. I never thought to put it over pasta but it sounds like great comfort food. -- -- Lisa

I SO LOVE grilled cheese sandwiches. I like tomato soup as well and they both go together. My mom who loves tomatoes would just cut to the chase and put tomato slices in her grilled cheeses. I also like to put some ham in, too. All that melted gooey cheeeese!

Tina and Sherrie, those are such great memories! I remember my mother adding pasta to soup too, as a practical way to "stretch" the course so there was enough for all five of us. And although my preference was usually tomato soup, that soup and grilled cheese sandwich is still a wonderful comfort-food lunch (or dinner) today. • Janet

Welcome to the Table, Tina. Campbell's veggie soup is one of my favorite memories from childhood too. My mom was a working mom too, but there was always a bowl of hot soup and a grilled cheese sandwich waiting for me when I came home for lunch in elementary school. -- ~~"Crock Pot Queen" Sherrie

My mom was a hard working woman who was "queen" of quick easy meals. One thing my mom made that I still love to this day invloves Campbells Vegetable Beef soup. You just simply boil some macaroni...once you drain the macaroni you just add a can of Campbells Vegetable Beef soup and heat. Quick, easy and delicious!
