Bread might do the trick. Think garlic bread, and cinnamon-chocolate toast, or chocolate/fruite fondue...

I had an awful experience with parsnips many years ago and have been afraid to eat them ever since. This recipe sounds interesting - maybe I will give it a try. Wish me luck.

    Good answer! LOL! :^O

I am a garlic freak and a chocoholic, but I don't think garlic ice cream sounds yummy at all. :O

Meryl... jigglers become solid when you add things and they become shooters and you had to many <eg>

you besmirch the name of the noble parsnip!;)

I love the things. I made a parsnip cheddar souffle over thanksgiving and it was a big hit. If you want to give the poor maligned roots an other go, here's a link to the recipe I used...it was very yummy.

is Jell-O really a solid? I mean even Jigglers are questionable;)

I've had lemon meringue pie with chocolate crust and it was surprisingly yummy.

LOL...you got it...that's the official answer!

I live not far from Gilroy and have been to the festival. I think even they have stopped short of chocolate garlic dishes and while I suppose you could put chocolate sauce on your garlic ice cream it would still be...garlic ice cream blech.

    How about cottage cheese? ;)

But great point, Meryl. It's really tough to think of ANYTHING that wouldn't be complimented by one of these flavors. Next I want to see if anyone can come up with a (palatable) way to combine the two! The winner can make his/her recipe at CampbellStock or on Carl's cruise! ;)
