Thanks Penelope. I don't think this is the same as the one I used years ago, but I'll give it a try. I'll let you know how it turns out. Still hoping to find the other one. If I recall it was called "Tangy" barbecue sauce.

Mary, I found this in an old Campbells cook book I have, not sure if its what your looking for but I'll post it anyway. 1 can condensed tomato soup 2 to 4 Tb. sweet pickle relish 1/4 C chopped onion 1 Tb. brown sugar 1 Tb. vinegar 1tb. worcestershire sauce Combine all and simmer until onion is cooked and flavors blended. 1 1/2 cups sauce.

Looking for a recipe for barbecue sauce from 25/30 years ago. can remember most of ingredients, but not amounts. Anyone have this old recipe? some ingredients are, onions, tomato soup, Worcester sauce, texas pete hot sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, cloves. Thanks for help.
