This recipe sounds really good! I have a very nice recipe box around here somewhere that I wish I could find. I've been trying (and loving) so many of the recipes on here but I don't have them all in one central location yet. I have all these printed sheets of paper in the kitchen with all the recipes I've tried. LOL I hope I can find my recipe box so I can start writing all these recipes down. -- MM MM Good!

Angela and Cin, I wish I'd saved a picture of the shoes, but that was a couple of years ago. They weren't slippers, more like serious leather Oxfords but with a big red and white all-over label print. I recall them being something around $250; definitely for a serious collector, but cute as a button! • Janet

Joan, I found this recipe in a very old Campbell's cookbook I have called "Cooking with Soup" I'm not sure if it's what your looking for but it does have the ingredients you mentioned. Tomato Beef Casserole 1 medium onion, chopped 1 tablespoon shortening 1 can condensed tomato soup 1/2 cup water 1/2 lb. ground beef 1/2 cup cooked green beans 1 cup cooked noodles 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese Lightly brown onion and beef in shortening. Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Pour into a 1 quart casserole dish. Top with cheese. Bake 375 for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Serves four. Variation : 1 cup of cubed cooked beef can be substituted for ground beef. Hope this helps.

Hi.....I am looking for a recipe my grandmother used to make..it is a VERY old recipe.( at least 60 years old !!! ).all I remember is that it had.. ground beef, elbow macaroni, some kind of cheese,(Velveeta? American?) and I think either tomato soup or tomato sauce...it was baked in a casserole...it sounds easy enough, but I have tried every combination, and cannot come uo with the exact taste..Thanks so much...Joan (we also collect cook books and now have a little over 1500)

Hi Mark, welcome That's so cool that you're a Campbell -- I can see why you collect. How much stuff do you have in your collection?

Hi Mark, and welcome to the group. I just looked to see if they still had the Campbell's shoes, but they seem to be gone. Too bad, you're someone who could have justified such a themed footwear splurge!

I love my Campbell's cookbooks - they're from Publications International (the people who publish the FBNR books) and the recipes are always fast & delicious.
