I made this last weekend and it was pretty good.... Originally posted by Stephanie Poe: Hello, I have a great green bean casserol that I don't think anyone has ever suggested. What you need is this: 1lb ground beef 1-1 1/2 can Tomato soup 1 can green beans 1 medium onion chopped About 3 cups Mashed Potatos (boxed work just fine also) Cheese (any kind you like, I just use the sliced packaged kind) First you want to cook the ground beef with the onion until done. Drain the fat and add soup and green beans. You can add any kind of seasoning you wish to. I like to add onion powder and garlic powder. Next you want to pour that into a casserol dish. Scoop the mashed potatos on top and then lay the sliced cheese over the mashed potatos. Bake on 350 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. The cheese should be melted and browned. It is sooo good. You can even double everything for a big casserol dish that will last a few nights. http://kitchentable-campbells.forums.liveworld.com/thread.jspa?forumID=91&threadID=600000136&messageID=600006879#600006879 -- ....... eat mo' grits

I use to make this recipe as a Kid. It had hamburger, French cut green beans, tomatoe soup and mashed potatoes on top with cheese. Does anyone recall the full recipe? Thanks
