I actually don't have a photo...didn't think to take one. The trophy is at the school. I'll try to get a picture soon and post.

Hi, I'm going to be the new coordinator for my son's elementary school. I'm looking for any help that anyone is willing to offer. I've read some of the idea's here and they sound great. Can some of you explain how you go about getting local business's to participate??? Thanks in advance for any help!!! Kelly

OUCH - I'm embarrased. I posted the wrong attachment for the Golden Soup Can trophy in my original post...and have been so busy the past couple of weeks that I haven't had the chance to check in on the Forum. Apparently that was my original scan that I used in designing the trophy...not the label I made for the trophy itself. I've added the correct attachment above and also in my original post. Sorry for the error!!

We signed up back in May. The 5/21/08 e-mail I have announcing these booklets says "you will receive 200 booklets (while supplies last) for your school on or around August 1, 2008." For those not familiar w/ these booklets, e-mails were sent in May and you had to order w/ a special code by June 1.

Hi Susan, I absolutely love your idea of the Golden Soup Can Trophy and am creating it for our program. I was, however, expecting to see something other than the actual soup can's original label when I opened your attachment. When you said you made a special label and we could modify it to use, I thought I would see something different. Is that the correct attachment on your posting? Thanks, Kelly

Did anyone sign up to receive the 200 coupon books for back to school nights that was offered in the winter or spring newsletter? Does anyone know when they are going to ship those? We had a back to school bash yesterday, and I was hoping to have already had them.

Use a snow cone machine, ice shaver or food processor, chop up the ice. Put the ice in foam cups with lids, store in freezer until ready to go to school. Once at school add juice, any flavor will work. We generally take 2 or 3 flavors of different colors

I tried to send out the recipe but the system would not let me post it. I contacted the company directly to see why it wouldn't post. I will try again at a later date.

Any chance of getting your slushie recipe? And does any particular V8 Splash work better than others? Thanks!

Hello I like the way Campbells had everyone working together. My Church Youth group sold soup to earn us more labels, they did pull the upc's off first.

I have used different incentives both as individuals and for the classrooms. For our school we have an individual monthly drawing. Sometimes tickets to the local theater (donated), $25 gift cards (donated by local businesses), posters (kids went wild for these) and Coupons for the School Store. We had two of our larger business donate enough that if each classroom turned in 1 completed 5 point label sheet they earned a pizza party. The entire school earned a party (what a delivery that was - but we got a great price from local pizzera). We have used V8 Splash and had slushie parties also, the school didn't have a problem with their Food Rules since this was juice.
