This conversation just reminded me of that old Gary Larsen "The Far Side" cartoon with the French restaurant with the sign in front that says, "Today's Special :Frog Legs" and all the little froggies on crutches and wheel chairs coming out the back door of the kitchen...... -- ~~"Crock Pot Queen" Sherrie

Haha - that made me laugh. I can't imagine anyone in my household cutting the drumsticks off of a chicken and frying it up for a midnight snack. Too funny! I'd have called it "lame chicken"and cooked what was left in the crockpot anyway.

Thanks "Queen" Sherrie, Just like you said... like coming home to a Sunday Dinner but in my case it was Friday.... mmm. I used unpeeled small red new potatoes and fresh "sugar snaps"... felt kinda guilty eating such a great (and complete meal) with such little effort. PS: had a little setback though.... went to assemble my meal in the crockpot on Thursday morning and was a little at awe when I pulled the chicken out of the frig.... someone had cut the drumsticks off and fried them for a midnight snack..... back to the store! -- ....... eat mo' grits
