I'm sorry you are having a rough week Angela... Trust me..it does get easier as they get older.. The worrying doesn't decrease it just changes in a weird sort of way. But I know it is not fun to have a sick child in the house. I remember when my youngest was born and for about a week or two (it felt like forever) he had his nights and days mixed up. Now I know where the phrase..if mama ain't happy no one is happy came from!

Oh Angela, I hope things have improved with the sleep boycott, and tonsil-removal recovery! Way to shop, Viv! The economic news these days is so dismal that it's really an inspiration to keep an eye on grocery costs. • Janet

Oh Angela, I wish I could come help for a while. It really does pass - now that my "baby" is a very busy ten-year-old I seem to have blanked out some of the more trying baby days. Hang in there! *hugs* -- Lisa

Thanks Cin! At 3am this morning when 2/4 of my kids were awake, I kept repeating that exact saying over and over! LOL -- ~*~Angela~*~

You are too funny Mom!! Your job sounds great and much better than working with kids all day. You can go home and do that. I decided I was going to drive all the way to Wal-Mart today because their groceries are so much cheaper. I stocked up on Select Harvest. I looked in the pantry yesterday for a can of soup and none was to be found. I have fixed that little detail.

I thought I mentioned it here that I wasn't going back. My lesson giving days are over.. I put myself through college giving skating lessons. Other then a small college loan I was able to make it through with just giving lessons. I graduated college in 1983. I'm leaving the coaching up to my daughter now. LOL.. I have worked part time at the rink for 9 years just to help make ends meet with her skating. The 10% off in the pro shop on her skates saved me about $100 a year.. the free ice time for her saved me thousands... Anyhow.. a position came up in June.. and they made me an offer..It would of only paid me a little more then I was making at school. So, I was really pondering it. In July they made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Almost double my school salary plus a 20% discount . Vacations are not as long but you know... I had to work job 2 during my vacation anyway. So... now I work full time at the skating rink. Though I have to go between two rinks. I watch the Washington Capitals practice. I was really mean the other day... Ovechkin was shooting pucks... and my office is right outside the ice... (with a heater of course) and I picked up my iphone... snapped a pic.. emailed it to a good friend who is a HUGE fan.. and I said..while your dealing with 25 1st graders..I'm watching your idol. She was none to thrilled with me Can't repeat what she said..LOL.. This is why I need my soup!!!!!

I don't even use a spoon or fork with that calm chowder, I just get a pack of saltines and scoop it up with those. I tend to just dump the whole can in and not pay attention to serving sizes. I probably should, and save some for later but it's just such a treat and I don't have it too often.

> I really like Chunky Clam Chowder (still haven't This is my favorite (Campbells is good).... and I LOVE those larger cans... you know, those single serving ones...LOL. I've never served the chowder as a meal, instead reserving it more as a snack food.... but I NEVER dilute with anything.... mm good. -- ....... eat mo' grits
