After trying this, I actually started requesting it. Molly’s Beans...August recipe exchange

Molly’s Beans...August recipe exchange 8 servings Sauté: 4 strips bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces 1 onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1 cup celery, chopped Drain liquid off the beans and add beans to sautéed mixture (save liquid to use if needed): 1 can baked beans 1 can stewed tomatoes (with juice) 1 can (or frozen) green limas 1 can red kidney beans To this, add: 1 teaspoon dry mustard 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup ketchup 2 teaspoons sugar If more liquid is needed, add juices reserved above. Bake in oven, put in a crockpot or simmer on top of the stove for 1-to-2 hours to blend flavors. Can be made ahead, covered and refrigerated. Heat and serve. If serving a crowd: up to 50 Sauté: 1 lb. bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces 4 onions, chopped 4 green peppers, chopped 6 cups celery, chopped Beans: 6 cans baked beans 6 cans stewed tomatoes 6 cans lima beans 6 cans red kidney beans to this add: 2 tablespoons dry mustard 3 cups brown sugar 3 cups ketchup 4 tablespoons sugar Follow same directions as above. -- >> ~~>*>Cin(\0/)<*<~~ << >> ><(((*>Jesus<*)))>< <<
