Hi Rachel, I am so sorry for the confusion. There is a big mistake in this recipe and thank you for bring it to our attention. We are working on getting the site correct right now.

This recipe is supose to be cooked on top of the stove. We consider this a stove top "casserole".

    Here is the correct recipe.

    Chicken Noodle Casserole
    Prep: 15 minutes
    Cook: 10 minutes
    Makes: 4 servings

1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Chicken and Mushroom Soup

    1/2 cup milk

    1/8 tsp. ground black pepper

    1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups cubed cooked chicken or turkey

3 cups cooked medium egg noodles (about 3 cups dry)

    Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

In large saucepan mix soup, milk, pepper, cheese, chicken and noodles. Over medium heat, heat through, stirring occasionally.

    Garnish with parsley.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Welcome Rachel......I'm still a bit confused too. Does the below mean....
''if you use alllll the ingredients as listed in the recipe it will feed '44-people'. Which would still feed '22-people' if you only used one part of the ingredients?????????"

    Chicken Noodle Casserole
    From: Campbell's KitchenCampbell's Kitchen
    Prep: 15 minutes
    Cook: 10 minutes
    Prep: 15 minutes
    Cook: 10 minutes
    Serves: 44

This recipe sure doesn't look like it will serve that many to me.....either way, if using all or half.

Rachel, check out the reviews at that link too - it looks as though it's been a big hit with cooks, whether or not they give it some oven time. And what interesting variations people came up with, from substituting different flavours of soup, other cheeses, more or different veggies. Looks like a very flexible (and yummy) recipe. Thanks for pointing it out!

And welcome to these friendly discussions! • Janet

Everything is cooked going into the oven so I'd say 350 for 30 mins.

Hi Rachel and welcome. I check out the recipe and you have every right to be confused. The ingredients are listed twice so just ignore the repeated ingredients. A casserole is definitely a dish you bake.
I wondering if after the recipe says to combine everything on the stove top and put into a casserole dish they omitted to tell you to cover and bake it. I'm sure other members have some ideas for you too.

I'm just learning how to cook, I've never been that good at it so I try to find simple recipies.

I came on to the website and found a recipie I like, it looks really good. It's:
    http://dinnerideas.com/recipedetail.aspx?recipeSource=search&recipeID=24548&page=1&index=13&Collection=5&LastIndex=false

But I'm a bit confused. Why are the ingrediants on there twice? And isn't a Casserole something your supposed to bake?
