I always add a can of liquid when cooking with a cream soup in the crockpot. Usually I use broth or wine, however, rather than water for exta flavor.

Hi all, this may have been asked, but couldnt find in search. When cooking ,example a roast in crockpot and it says in recipe to add cream of mushroom soup and onion soup mix, Do you add can of water also or not? Also other recipes call for cans of different soups, Do you add water with them also? I'm learning to cook different ways and needed some input on this . Thank you for any info about adding, dont add, or add half amount of water?
