I just went back and reread this thread and saw the convo about your son! I am so happy for you both!!!! And I know how you feel about you either laugh or cry and crying gets you nothing but a headache and a red nose! I guess I felt like I wasn't fit for human consumption for a little while there, but all of you are right - a seat at the table is for good times AND bad. I know my pals would have helped me through, and I'm happier than you can imagine to be welcomed back!! And Cin, just so you know - a martini recipe will NEVER be wasted on me... Thanks all!! Holy WOW, Leslie! I had no idea about your son - how terrifying that must have been! I am so relieved for you and for him that he's happy and healthy and still with us. I'm so glad you're back and posting; I've missed you!

Hi L, I am so glad about your son and that your back posting. You should have not have stayed away for so long. Don't you realize that everyone here supports members in not only the good times but bad times. You could have used our support with your son. Enough said. Hi Gibber! I'd like to say I remember seeing some of your older posts. I am so glad your son is well and everything worked out for your family! I have a 6 (almost 7 ) year old son and so that really hit home with me. I am really enjoying reading your posts and love your sense of humor! This is almost as good as a martini.....used to serve it in martini glasses (does that count). Probably not....no alcohol, but I bet you could use an Orange Liqueur or some type of liquor.
Citrus Margarita Cooler
Get a burst of citrus flavor with this delicious low-calorie fat-free beverage. As a bonus, one serving of this drink is also cholesterol free, very low in sodium and a good source of vitamin C.
Diet Exchange: Free
1 tub CRYSTAL LIGHT Lemonade Flavor Low Calorie Soft Drink Mix
1-1/2 cups cold water
1/2 cup cold orange juice
1 Tbsp. lime juice
5 cups crushed ice
PLACE drink mix, water, orange juice and lime juice in blender container; cover.
BLEND on high speed until drink mix is dissolved.
ADD ice; cover. Blend on high speed until thickened and smooth. Serve immediately.

Yup, it's Leslie, Lester, Lala, Princess Lala, Gibber, L, whatever the heck you want to call me. Each name has a different personality... (user, beware, haha). LOL - so what gave me away, the suggestion for a martini recipe contest, or the crack about extra virgin olive oil being made from olives that don't even THINK about it... ? I wasn't trying to be tricky, just couldn't remember any of my old login info. I was secretly hoping that some of my pals would still be around (Hey Lisa! MommyMo, hi! and of course my lovie P!). As I said, life got in the way for awhile, but it's SO good to pull up a chair and rest at the Table again. P may already know, but around the time I disappeared my (then) 4 year old son was diagnosed with cancer and I spent most of my time getting emergency exceptions to silly insurance policies and sacrificing chickens to any god that would listen. It must've worked, because on the eve before taking out an organ that can't be replaced we found out it WASN'T cancer... long story short he's now happy, healthy, fairly whole and (most importantly) not dead. I don't mean to sound callous but those of you who remember me know that if I don't laugh, I'll cry - and I'd much rather laugh. And anyone else who knows what a "thunder mug" is ain't no sissy, either. Cheers to you all, I've missed you so much and can't wait to get to know you all again! Gibber |

I racked my brain and came up with the same poster as Penny did - is it really you, Leslie? If so, I'm glad you're back!
