Thanks for the Canada Day greetings! Carol, how did your BBQ celebration work out? And of course what did you serve? Did you manage to dodge the rainy weather? It was a pretty low-key celebration here - some friends came over for dessert before going to the local fireworks display, and we had ice cream cones and cupcakes as a casual and yummy dessert menu. • Janet

Penny and Lisa, Thanks for your Canada Day wishes. I hope the weather forecast is better for your July 4th celebrations than ours is for Canada Day. I have 25 people coming over for a barbecue and it's supposed to rain all day. It could be worse - it could snow!!!! -- Carol B.
