Jenn, you did not offend me at all.....I just felt so stupid because I could not get rid of it or edit it.
I think we definitely nee a way to get rid of mistakes or add something we've forgotten.

I wonder if she ever checks back in here to see if anyone has posted the one she wanted??????

Cin, you are right it is more than a few threads away-it was at the top!
It's o.k., I didn't mean you had to say sorry. I just was asking because I kept checking to see if they were exactly the same and I thought maybe yours had a different ingredient or something just a little different and I was missing it.
Sorry if I offended you-I would never want to do that!:-x

P.S. I totally agree about the delete button. Awhile back, I forgot to add the beef to my Mongolian Beef recipe and there was no way to correct it because someone had already replied!

Does anyone know when the soup was discontinued (what year)??

Here is a recipe that is similar to Jenn's, (even has the same name), but just a bit different.

    Ground beef Noodle Soup
    1 lb ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 C frozen peas
    2 C V-8 juice
    1 C beef bouillon soup
    1/4 t dried basil
    1/4 t dried marjoram
    1/2 t. dried parsley
    1/8 t pepper
    1 bay leaf
1 can cream of celery soup
8 oz noodles, cooked almost done and drained (experiment with the amount that makes it good for you)

Brown ground beef and onions, drain off fat. Stir in rest of ingredients except noodles; heat to boiling. Stir in noodles, reduce heat and simmer for 10 mins, stirring occassionally. Remove bay leaf.

It has been discontinued. When I was young that way my Mom's favorite soup and mine also. I love it and would like to see Campbell's bring it back even for a limited time.

I also hate lima beans, but in soup I can eat them because they just blend in with everything else. They are good in ham and bean soup too!

I have never had that soup, so I don't know if this recipe is like it or not, but it's good!:) Hope this helps!

    Ground Beef Noodle Soup

    1-1/2 pounds ground beef
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1/2 cup chopped celery
    1/2 cup chopped carrot
    7 cups water
1 (1-1/4 ounce) envelope au jus mix
    2 tablespoons beef bouillon granules
    2 bay leaves
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    1-1/2 cups uncooked egg noodles

In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, cook beef, onion, celery and carrot over medium heat and drain when meat is no longer pink.
Add the water, au jus mix, bouillon, bay leaves and pepper and bring to a boil.
Stir in noodles and return to a boil.
Cook, uncovered for 15 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
    Discard bay leaves and serve.

I do remember the soup and it was my favorite. I actually got a hold of a campbell's rep a year or so ago and the soup no longer exists. Would love to find the recipe. the one above sounds good but isn't really close. If I recall there were 2 different typs of noodles. A wide noodle and a very skinny noodle. Anyone know of a recipe for Noodles and Ground Beef?
