It had tomato soup in it, and should be on page 11. I had the book and loan it to a friend, and she let her kids tear into it. I use to make it for my children all the time. Any help, on this, will be appreciated. Thanks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ stchwch1992 This is the recipe from p.11 Skillet Franks 'N' Noodles 1lb frankfurters cut in half diagonally 1/2 c chopped onion 1/2 tsp basil or oregano leaves, crushed 2 tbsp butter or margarine 1 can-10 1/2 oz condensed cream of celery or mushroom soup 1/2 c milk 1/2 c chopped canned tomatoes 2 c cooked wide noodles 2 tbsp chopped parsley In skillet brown frankfurters and cook onion with basil in butter until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat; stir now and then. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chef #1342361 would appreciate the recipe, that you have. If the name of it is skillet Frankfurters n Noodles. Not Franks and Noodles, I tried the latter and it isn't the same. Thanks in advance for your help. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SKILLET NOODLES 'N' FRANKS DIRECTIONS Molly53 ForumHost Thu Aug 13, 2009 8:12 am FYI, don't count on recipes here in the db having the precise title of any cookbook recipe that might be entered into the db. To avoid copyright issues, our members are encouraged to submit recipes in their own words. Frankfurters is easily shortened to franks when transcribing. Recipes and Copyright Copyright protects creative works (written or artistic). Though we think of cooking as art, that does not make a recipe copyrightable. "A mere listing of ingredients is not protected under copyright law. However, where a recipe or formula is accompanied by substantial literary expression in the form of an explanation or directions, or when there is a collection of recipes as in a cookbook, there may be a basis for copyright protection." — The Copyright Office of the US Government A list of ingredients cannot be copyrighted. To the extent there are only so many ways to say "boil water" it is not creative, or therefore protected as copyright. So even if the recipe originated elsewhere, even if the ingredients are still the same, if the directions and description of your posted recipe are in your own words, it is your recipe. ALSO...........I'm wondering if you wanted to; can't you add or sub Tomato Soup to that recipe and see if it changes it to what your wanting??? -- Edited by 2932550 at 08/16/2009 4:17 PM PDT
