It didn't feel like the 4th here since fireworks have been pretty much banned. I didn't hear a one! I did make some chicken, though. I'm trying to get more into fresh foods after a couple of months of eating way too much processed stuff. -- Worries go down better with soup. ~Jewish Proverb

I'm making the usual hamburgers and hot dogs My baked beans My daughter requested some bounty of the ocean too!! So.. I am buying some muscles and little neck clams.. steaming them and adding garlic/butter sauce.. Really easy to do... melt a stick of butter Add minced garlic.. I buy the already minced garlic so I add a heaping tablespoon (or 2 ) the juice from one lemon and a little of the zest of the lemon blend the mixture.. I place the muscles and clams in a large plastic bowl add the melted butter mixture.. cover the bowl and gently shake until everything is covered. If I'm serving this for company I will arrange it artfully.. and then sprinkle some chopped parsley on the clams to give it a pretty color. If no company... it's one for all and all for one..dig in..LOL

Why of course I'm making pulled pork. Its already made with the "sauce" Actually serving sauce separately. For Chicken, Ribs, Pork, try the "sauce" The Best !! 1 QT V8 Juice 1/2 tsp ground cloves 1/3 tsp cinnamon 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 2 + crushed garlic cloves 3-4 tsp Mrs. Dash original blend 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/4 + lemon zest and juice. from http://www.pitt.edu/~szekeres/worlds%20best%20barbecue%20sauce.htm
