Hi Karen.. welcome to the Campbells boards!! What an incredible amount of weight you lost. I love when I go to the doctor and she goes "have you decided to make a life style change yet." I need to lost 60+ lbs. There are some great recipes on here.

Hi Karen. Welcome to the Table and congratulations on your weight loss! I love that you used the term "way of eating" instead of "diet" since success so often depends on changing not just the way you eat in the short-term but the way you look at food for the rest of your life. Kudos to you. I'd love to see some of your favorite new recipes and secrets for success. I thought the same as the others have posted about dividing the whole recipe by the number of suggested servings to arrive at an appropriate serving size. Portion size in non-recipes is one of the most difficult things for me to master - frequently we just pile our plate with whatever looks good and call it a serving. Following a recipe helps control that issue for me. I hope we'll see you around more! -- Lisa

Karen, welcome to the table. Janet's covered everything I was going to say, only better. All I can add is that if the recipe is posted by a member without the serving size that's an easy fix. Just ask the member. They will be more than happy to help you out. Penny. -- ....A balanced diet is a cookie in each hand...

Welcome Karen! It's great to have you join us in this friendly group. Congratulations on your weight loss, and all the discipline and lifestyle changes that come with such success. I think the trick to determining serving size is to go to the number of servings specified (usually at the top of the recipe). So, if a recipe serves 4, the total calories per serving would be for a quarter of the entire recipe. Looking at the recipe for Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad that says it's 222 calories per serving, that would be a sixth of the whole recipe since it serves 6. Make sense? • Janet

Hello everyone. My name is Karen and trying this website to get more variety for dinners. I took on a new way of eating or lifestyle change almost a year ago now and have lost over 60 lbs and hoping this website can help with healthier receipes. But I have noticed in the nutritional information there are not serving size amounts to go along with the nutrient numbers. How can I figure out what the serving amount is? Any help would be appreciated. Looking forward to new and healthy receips.
