Janet, I KNOW!!! It's like he is always having a shot taking off his shirt and putting on his chef whites. I think it's a contractual thing for us ladies, LOL. The opening theme of the F Word is just *fans self* Wow. :)

I can't say I'm a big fan of Gordon Ramsay in his current style, cussing and bullying. He does seem to do some good food though, and I recall him on an old UK series where celebrity chefs showed up at a the homes of enthusiastic amateur cooks, and challenged them to cook a menu selected by the chef. On that show he was supportive and nice, so it may be that part of the "concept" of his current shows is that he's to be confrontational and abrasive.

Do any other TV chefs find so many opportunities to take off their shirts though?

I found an interview with him on the FoodTV.ca site; the interviewer seemed to have been charmed by him. Click for the link.

I like Kitchen Nightmares too... It is great when you see restaurants who take his advice and really succeed. It's disappointing when they do not follow through and end up closing. He has helped so many businesses turn themselves around.

As for The F Word.... it depends on the groups for the competition. In my opinion sometimes the groups were not as entertaining. I do love the chatter in the restaurant though. I love watching his kids with the animals on the farm.

Hell's Kitchen is my favorite.. Though when In Vegas I went to The Red Rock hotel.. the one where one of the winners became the head chef .. I think season one or maybe it was two... It's been awhile.. I remember thinking it was a bit over priced and I was not overly impressed. I thought Bobby Flay's restaurant at Caeser's Palace was a lot better and the prices a little more reasonable.

If you haven't had a chance to see The F word.. and you are a Ramsey fan.... try to find it on cable.. it's worth watching at least once :)

I love Gordon Ramsey and I have the most respect for his cooking talent. I am hooked on all his shows, Kitchen Nightmares included! Hell's Kitchen is my favorite. He is a bear in the kitchen, but, he is one awesome human being and does alot of work for charities. I also think he's not bad on the eyes either-lol! :-x
What is the "F Word "show?

Does anyone watch Gordon Ramsay's shows? I have been hooked on "Kitchen Nightmares" though I prefer the British version. I can't get into the "F Word" show -- there's so much going on in that show. They have cooking plus celebrities, plus talking like a talk show, plus visiting a farm, plus a competition. I prefer the Kitchen Nightmares to see how Gordon makes tanking restaurants successful again.

Do you like any of these shows? Which is your favorite? What do you think about Gordon?
