David! That's just about the funniest thing I've heard in a long time! How long did it take you to figure out UPS had others?

> Google tells me that Redbone Alley Restaurant and Bar > is a place in Florence [and Sumter], South Carolina. It's a shame that I have to learn about my own back yard from this website. I thought Redbone Alley was a National Chain (not).... this from the same little boy who grew up thinking there was only one UPS driver... period. I'm in Sumter three times a week and Florence once a month.... Eaten there a couple of times... Attended same college as the owner.... I think the worlds shrinking... or I'm just getting older. -- ....... eat mo' grits

Mostly, that's just the amount I mix up, and have some left over. Olive oil might not work as good, because it's not solid enough to mix the seasoning directly into it.

Texas Roadhouse Sirloin Gold is a good substitute (it's my definate reccomendation for steaks), or, you could probably try something from Lawry's.

Thanks for the recipe, Carla! To boost the "healthiest" part of it, I wonder how it would work using less butter or margarine than 1 to 1-1/2 tablespoon per chicken breast? Or could you spread the bread with a little olive oil as an alternative? Google tells me that Redbone Alley Restaurant and Bar is a place in Florence, South Carolina. They sell the rub at their website but I don't see anything there that describes its flavour. -- Edited by 2549249 at 11/09/2008 9:16 AM PST

Carla, I saw this recipe on the R.R. message boards but I've never heard of Redbone Alley beef rub. What can be used in place of it? -- ....A balanced diet is a cookie in each hand...

This is not only easy, and healthful, it's delicious: ---3 Slices bread ---2 eggs ---2-3 tablespoons I Can't Believe it's Not Butter or some other spread ---Redbone Alley Beef Rub ---2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts Mix some of the Redbone Alley seasoning in with the butter; spread over the bread. Toast the bread and grind in food processor to make breadcrumbs. Beat eggs in a bowl. Cut chicken into tenders-strips; sprinkle both sides with seasoning. Preheat oven to 350. Dip tenders into egg, then roll in breadcrumbs. Lay on cookie sheet (sprayed with cooking spray, of course) and put into oven 25 minutes or until done through.
