I've always used the ''soft'' butter and just whisk the honey in to whip\blend together......don't use my blender at all. -- ~~~~> *>Cin(\0/)<* <~~~~ >> ><(((*>Jesus<*)))>< <<

Honey butter is simply half honey/half butter or margerine. It's easy to make yourself if your local store doesn't carry it. Just make sure you use the BLENDER, not melt the butter to make it mix, LOL.

Mmmm...now you've got me thinking about cinnamon rolls. There was one of those cinnamon roll places near my old office, and the smell of baking rolls seemed to just reach out and drag people in to shop. Delicious!

Sounds like a great variation in a pinch! Great job! I do something similar by tearing canned biscuits nearly in half, twisting them into an "s" shape and placing them into the openings in a cupcake tin. Then I blend brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle it generously over each one. Take a pat of butter and put it on top of each "roll", then bake according to the instructions on the biscuit tube. They come out sort of like pieces of cinnamon monkey bread except each one is sticky-gooey with the sugar/cinnamon. Mmmmm.... It's been a while, maybe I need to do that again soon. -- Lisa

Hey that's great, Carla! What a quick mind you have. Sounds like it would work really well, and I love cinnamon sugar and have it on buttered toast now and again as a lil treat.

Semi-Homemade Cinnamon "Rolls"

came up with this because it was Saturday breakfast this morning and the kids wanted something special, but I did not buy any cinnamon rolls. So, I made this easy recipe: --1 can biscuits --Cinnamon/Sugar --Honey Butter --2 tablespoons vanilla icing Roll biscuits (both sides) in honey butter. Sprinkle both sides with cinnamon/sugar. Bake. Ice immediately.
