I LOVE the Paint-a-Pie Mudd Pie! That sounds yummy! You could also let them have a clean, never used paint brush to paint chocolate layer on the bottom of the graham cracker crust!

Here’s a fun, easy menu for your summer get-togethers! The whole family can get involved in the one.

    Paint–a–Pie Mudd Pie

Serves approximately 6. Your choice of prepared 8- or 9-inch pie crust (Chocolate Graham Cracker is my favorite!); 2 or 3 varieties of your favorite flavors of ice cream (use your imagination!). Canned whipped cream

Slightly soften ice cream. Scoop ice cream into prepared pie shell, making each layer a different flavor. Lace top with chocolate and\or caramel syrup, and sprinkle with chopped nuts, if desired. Top off the edges with whipped cream. Cut into 6 or 8 servings. Chill before serving.

Tip: Let the kids do this one on their own and present their creation to the family! Make memories!

    Summer Bean Salad

In a bowl, combine 1 can each, drained:

    kidney beans
    green beans
    wax beans
    garbanzo beans
Chop 1 small white onion and add to beans. Add vinegar and sugar to taste (everyone's taste is different...can also use Splenda instead of sugar), and stir. Chill 4 hours before serving.

Tip: Let the kids learn how to use the can openers, measuring items, and experience a variety of tastes and smells!

    Cucumber Salad

    SLICED CUCUMBERS
    1 ZUCCHINI SQUASH THINLY SLICED
    1 ONION THINLY SLICED
    1 GREEN PEPPER THINLY SLICED
    3 TOMATOES- CHUNKED

    In A Jar Combine:
    1 CUP OIL
    1/4 CUP VINEGAR
    1/2 TEASPOON GARLIC SALT
    2 TABLESPOON SUGAR
    1 TEASPOON BLACK PEPPER

    SHAKE WELL-POUR OVER SLICES; CHILL
Tip: let the kids shake this one up.

    Grilled Chicken Tenders

    Makes approximately 6 servings:

    8 to 12 chicken tenders
    1 cup soy sauce
    1/2 cup white cooking wine
    Your favorite, seasoned rub

Wash chicken pieces and place in a casserole or large pan with edges. Combine soy sauce and cooking wine, and pour over chicken. Refrigerate, allowing pieces to marinate thoroughly, preferably overnight.

Tip: Marinating the chicken longer in the wine & soy sauce will enhance the flavor of the chicken.

While the grill is warming up, dredge chicken tenders on both sides in your favorite grilling rub. (This is great fun for the children – don’t forget to have them wash their hands afterwards!)

Grill until chicken is no longer pink inside.
