I just became my school's coordinator as well. Our previous coordinator was glad to have someone to hand it off to. She did well but I wanted us to get all the bonus points from the collection sheets. I would suggest talking to your school teachers to see what they would like to use the points on. Pass the cattalog around and get wish list of items then prioritize them. From the paper work I got it looks like there was a points discount for ordering in certain months, like in the fall and in the before the end of march. that will help our points go farther.

Amanda, I ordered the hand/desk bells for the music teacher, and she loved them. We ended up getting 3 sets so every student in class would have one bell. We also ordered art supplies for the art teacher and other things for the gym teacher. Keep in mind that these classes are not funded as well as the school library and could use the extra help. We have also ordered the balls and jump ropes for the classes to take out at recess. The rubber balls do not last long. I also got the three graders the throw down bases, so they would play kick ball the right way when out at recess. I just ordered the teamtrekkers for the gym and field day, can't wait to get them in to try out. You might want to asked the teachers what they need or would like to have for the students. Have fun spending those points, you can get some very neat things that the students will love. Michelle

I have now been given the box tops as well at the Family Fun Night last Friday. I was given 2 grocery bags full and unfortunately had to throw away about a gallon size bag of labels that were expired. I will post later once I am all done counting them and let you guys know what I had. What do you guys spend your campbells points on? I was thinking some playground balls.

Congratulations and welcome aboard!! I want to make a suggestion for you. I would call campbell's and let them know that you are the new coordinator and that all of what you are submitting is from the prior coordinator dropping the ball. This would allow you the chance to get the bonus for next years submission. Beth

Amanda, The only downside I can see to that many points is that if next year they give a bonus again based on a percentage submitted over this year, it's going to a tough act to follow. But it sure would be a nice problem to have. Enjoy redeeming them all. Hope you have your eye on something good. Cindy

Congratulations Amanda and it's about time Since you've been working hard at getting points at least now you'll know that they're being turned in. Same applies to Box Tops. Last year I started counting our 3rd/4th grade school for the same reasons you posted. Luckily, a parent at that school volunteered finally so I turned it over to her. She turned in over $500 and I had thrown away around $300 in expired. Just made me sick. My school would've loved to turn in those Box Tops. How fun to turn in 16,000+ Campbell points. How will you spend them??? Anyway now you're in charge and you're school will soon be reaping the rewards!!! Keep us updated!! Sheila B.

i have become the schools coordinator and was very sad to see that there has not been a submission since april 2006. i received the account number along with a garbage bag full of labels from the lady that was suppose to be doing it. i spent a whole week counting them out and submitted 16,681. now i am going to see if i can become the btfe coordinator. thing is all year i have been cutting and pasting the tops on the collection sheets to make it easy for the coordinator to send in who was also suppose to be the campbells coordinator, however it is still showing no submissions for this year and for last year it is showing 0 as well. it makes me mad as the kids are missing out on free money
