Mom, sounds so good! Did you mean "Sweet Baby Ray's" bbq sauce or is there a sauce I don't know about? Sweet Baby Ray's is our favorite! -- Jennifer When baking, follow directions. When cooking, go by your own taste.- Laiko Bahrs

I couldn't agree more with you, nothing beats that first barbeque, outside in the sun. We put our grill in the garage in the winter and use it all year round too. I marinated London broil last night and we made that along with corn on the grill and potato salad. Going to try your chicken next time. Love the summer.

Slowly grilled chicken with bbq sauce

OK.. so tonight I grilled chicken... over a slow grill.. Usually I par boil it before I throw it on the grill.. but this time I decided to try it this way.. I used Sweet Baby James BBQ sauce.. basted it many times.. and poked some holes so it would seep into the chicken.. It was perfectly cooked, juicy and YUMMY. This sauce just "stuck"to the chicken... It was sooooo good.. my kids liked it.. my husband's was just plain with no sauce.. he is boring when it comes to food.. LOL.. my mouth is still watering just thinking of it!! I served it with corn on the cob and baked potato that I wrapped in foil and put in the grill too.. IMHO there is nothing like the first "summer" grill of the season. We tend to grill all year round.. but that first time eating outside...
