I love making chili fries when I have leftover homeade chili. Once I made chili with chunks of chicken breasts and put the leftovers on fries. Chicken Chili fries were yummy!

Jennifer, I've just added a couple more things to my shopping list, thanks to you and this recipe (how can I not have garlic powder?!). Headed to the grocery store this afternoon, so these could be on the menu soon, thanks! • Janet

ANOTHER RECIPE FOR THIS: indoor for me...;)
    Grilled Chili Fries

1 (28-ounce) bag frozen steak fries, thawed (`Ore-Ida)
    2 tablespoons canola oil
    1 tablespoon chili seasoning
    BBQ sauce, for serving

Set up grill for direct cooking over medium heat. Oil grate when ready to start cooking.

On a baking sheet, toss to coat fries, oil and chili seasoning. Place fries on hot, oiled grill and cook 3 to 5 minutes per side. Serve hot with your favorite BBQ sauce for dipping.

INDOOR: Preheat broiler. Place FROZEN fries on foil-lined baking sheet. Toss to coat with oil and chili seasoning. Broil fries for 8 to 12 minutes, turning once, or until desired degree of crispness.

Cin, I love recipes with honey too! I always use the type of chili powder called "California Chili Powder" .It is lighter in color and sweeter and milder than the New Mexico kind.I don't think they'll be too hot for you-the honey balances it out.My son likes them!;)

Jen, I just took out Porterhouse steak and was thinking what side dish to go with it. Your recipe looks delicious. I'm going to make it tonight. Thanks.

These are so good and they go well with just about any meat entree.

2 pounds small red potatoes, cut into wedges
    2 tablespoons butter, melted
    1 tablespoon honey
    3 teaspoons chil powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    pinch paprika

Place the potatoes in a large bowl .Drizzle with butter and honey. Sprinkle with the seasonings and toss to coat. Spread evenly in a single layer on a baking sheet or pan that has been coated with nonstick spray.Bake, uncovered ,at 450 for 25 -30 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown, stirring once.
    These are so yummy!:-x
