Viv, thank you. Yes, I cook almost every night. I shop for 2 weeks worth of meals at a time and plan a menu.Twice a month, on Friday, we order pizza , though. We just got a Round Table pizza here and it's soooo good, but very pricey.

These are a very good side dish. I make them with pork tenderloin , but they are great with anything.

4-5 medium red potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
    1/4 cup butter, cubed
    1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 small sweet red pepper, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
1 small green pepper, chopped, optional
    1/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup beer or additional chicken broth
    1 tablespoon brown sugar

In a large skillet, cook and stir the potatoes in butter over medium high heat until lightly browned. Sprinkle with seasoned salt , garlic powder and pepper. Add red pepper, onion , and green pepper, if desired. Cook and stir for 5 minutes.
Combine broth, beer or additional broth, and brown sugar; pour over vegetables.Bring to a boil. Reduce heat ;simmer ,uncovered, for 3-5 minutes or until tender.4 servings
