I must politely disagree....
If someone is kind enough to post a tried and true recipe for all to enjoy.... why should they be burdened with converting it?
Shouldn't it be one of us recipe users that repays the favor by testing out another method and reporting back our success or failure?
How about including microwave, crockpot and convection oven directions?

That's a great suggestion, Jerry!
I know that I try to steer away from oven recipes especially during the summer because I don't want to heat the entire house.
Stove-top directions as well as grilling directions would be great for summer favorites!

As for your recipe's they are wonderfull.. I use them as frequently as possible, however what would be wonderful would be if you could add in a small change on all of your oven recipe's...?
Add what you need to do to change the recipe from Oven to stove top. In todays economy we are striving to change to more economical means of cooking..
Yes, cooking in the oven is the way our parents did things, but many of these recipe's that call for oven cooking at this tempurature for this long uses extraordinary amount of gas...
The same item can be done, far cheaper on gas mind you, if it is done stove top. Especially the Meatloaf..
I found that a meatloaf, if done in a double dutch oven, works just fine, can be cooked in approximately same time, and for far less gas.
Maybe you could check into that..?
If you find the same then could be easily added in, and would be a super bonus to everyone trying your recipe's.

Hello CD! Thank you for your questions. I'll answer to the best of my ability. Spell check - It is only available when you first create a post, not when you go back in and edit it. Delete - I'm not sure that I'm understanding your question, but the only messages you can delete are those that you write, and only before someone else replies to them, and those comments which are added to your blog. Featured blog - Thanks for this suggestion, I'll pass it on. Report abuse - The report abuse feature works as it should. It sends an abuse report to our moderators, who then check to see if the item is in violation of Campbell's standards. ( http://kitchentable-campbells.forums.liveworld.com/standards.jspa). Polls are enabled, currently, only in association with blogs. Off topic chat. We are currently looking at ways to revamp topics and discussions, though we have not yet made a final decision. We'll pass along the information about signatures, not certain if that is supposed to update, as well as your remark about names and numbers. Popular topics are based upon the most recently replied to or created topics. We're happy you enjoy visiting! |

CD some awesome suggestions and quesitons!! I, too, would love to see an "off topic" area for us to just gab in! A lot of times I want to post something to share with y'all but it's hard to find a category to stick it in! LOL!

The new site has been up & running for a few months now, but I still have some questions/suggestions:
Spell Check - It appears now in the Suggestion topic, but not sure the option is available throughout the Board in replys etc. When I go back to edit, don't see a spell check feature available.
Delete - Unable to delete a user post or new topic created by same.
Featured Blogs - Request the featured member Blog on Homepage be rotated among all members.
Report Abuse - Not working. Can Campbell's tell us who is the admnistrator/host of the site, & who to contact. TIA
Polls - May we have a feature where all members can start a poll (with comments), without having to start a blog to enable this feature.
Off Topic Chat - (Not a LIVE chat) Catagory - For anything that does not pertain to Topics listed.
Signatures (quotes) - Noticed when a siggy is changed, it is not updated throughout, the old siggies still remain.
Names & #s - Can we dispose of the #s & go with the screen/member name.
Popular Topic - What is the 'popularity' Topic based upon?
Guest Book - Not clearly defined - purpose, etc.
Recently noticed a member's (?) pics of baby photos (whom we have never met). We would like to meet you. Can you introduce yourself & share recipes etc with members? Noticed member(s) only posting blogs on this site. We would love to have you join in with sharing recipes etc on the main board.
