I have egg noodles that I bought..the easy boil type... I think that would be a nice addition to it. I'll let you know how it comes out!!

Shan.. cleaned out the crock pot.. actually dusted it out.. it's been that long since I've last used it.. I had to search for it.. I bought all the ingredients and this is dinner tomorrow night!!! Acutally I don't have garlic powder..but I have crushed garlic.. I'm sure it will be fine with that too.. I'll let you know next time I'm on!

Shan!!!! I can't wait to try this receipe!! I just read the ingredient list to my husband..he said.. hmmm.. sounds interesting.. let's give it a shot! Shan.. you don't understand.. he NEVER says anything positive about recipes.. he always likes the final outcome..but is always skeptical about what goes into it! Can't wait to try it!

Easy Cheesy Crockpot Chicken

I tried this recipe on Tuesday with the kids and they loved it!! I found the recipe here: http://southernfood.about.com/od/crockpotchicken/r/bl1c3.htm Ingredients: * 6 boneless chicken breast halves, without skin * salt and pepper, to taste * garlic powder, to taste * 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup * 1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup Preparation: Rinse chicken and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix undiluted soup and pour over chicken in a Crock Pot. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours. Serve over rice or noodles. Serves 6. I shredded some cheddar cheese to sprinkle on top and served this with roasted garlic potatoes and veggies (from Schwann). It was a huge hit!! ~Shan -- Edited by 2731534 at 08/29/2008 8:29 AM PDT |
