    20 large cookies

    3 large egg whites
    3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup oil or melted butter
    1/4 cup flour
    1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 1/4 cups Almond slices

    pre heat oven to 350f

Combine everything except almond slices in a mixing bowl, beat until pale white and smooth. Add almond slices

Line baking sheet with parchment or spray baking sheet with oil.

Take a 1 tablespoon of batter and spread into neat round using the back of the spoon, about 3 inches. Leave space between cookies.

bake for 10 minutes or until golden around edge.

    Variations:

Try any kind of nuts or seeds.
For almond flavor add 1/4 teaspoon of almond extract.
If you like them to have even more color, keep the cookies in the oven for extra 2 mins.
Cookies are very soft when out from the oven. You can place them over a something to make them into bowls or over a rolling pin. These are great for eatable bowls for ice cream, chocolate moose, lemon curd, what ever you want
I want to try adding some chocolate sometime.
If the yoke is small you may have to add a little mre flour.
