OK.... I made this cake this past weekend... I need to start taking pictures of my creations like Cin does.. I have an iPhone..but I always forget.... Can you say..HIT OF THE PARTY!!! It was delicious.. not hard to make at all. I had my daughters skating team over for a BBQ.. I made the chicken salad with craisins and put it on crackers as one of the appetizers and then for dessert I made this cake. YUMMYYYYYYYYYY. I highly recommend it!!

Mom, It is just like any bunt cake., if you can't eat it in a few days freeze it. It works well when you don't have eggs. And yes it is very rich. I have even added mini chocolate chips to it (you can't have to much chocolate - so I have been told by my mother in-law).

Did you refrigerate or freeze the cake after baking? Did the ice cream make it a richer cake? Just wondering... Sounds yummy.. it has my favorite ingredient in it... Chocolate!!!

The hit of the bbq. 1 box chocolate cake mix (or any other flavor) 1 pint chocolate ice cream, softened (again, any other flavor, but no sugar free unless it uses splenda) 3 eggs 1 c water Preheat oven to 350. Grease a bundt pan, then dust with cocoa powder. Beat all ingredients together for 4 minutes, pour into pan and bake 45 minutes. Serve with a dusting of confectioner’s sugar, a thin icing, whipped cream or the frosting of your choice. (We had it with chocolate syrup on it.) -- Edited by 2598976 at 05/26/2009 7:23 PM PDT
